OUR PROCESS STARTS HERE
We want the homeowner to be comfortable with the process of a remodel or room addition. This is not an easy process, but we know the steps to take so it's easier
THE DESIGN
Having a design and then developing a plan of action is paramount in any home remodel or room addition. We sit down and draw a rough sketch of the homeowner’s vision. Then we develop a rough plan of action based on the sketch, looking for potential issues of the existing home and how the rough design would work. Most of this will come from Ray Scott’s many years of engineering and construction experience. During that time, we will examine some of the costs associated with the rough design, in an attempt to forgo as many problems as possible.Once that is complete the homeowners and Ray Scott agree on the rough design it is time to a phase cost, advancing to the next level the CAD Design. Generally, this cost is around $500 to $3,000 depending on the project scope. Once the CAD design is completed, we will sit down and make changes. We allow only two meetings of changes. After that, if more changes will require additional costs with the CAD design.
THE ESTIMATE
Once the CAD design is approved then the final estimate will be completed. Keep in mind that the actual construction cost could vary based on what is found inside walls, ceilings, or even the floor which will affect the estimated construction cost.
